HELCI Transnational Conference brings together experts in university inclusion in Madrid

Madrid, December 11, 2024 – On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, the Transnational Conference of the HELCI Project (Higher Education Learning Community for Inclusion), co-financed by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program, was held in the Assembly Hall of the Ortega-Marañón Foundation. The event brought together 45 people, including representatives from six universities and various national and international institutions committed to equality and non-discrimination.

The HELCI Project has been presented in the framework of the activities of the European Women Rectors Association (EWORA).

Vilnius October 29, 2024 – In particular, it was announced during the seminar Universities as Change Agents to Create Gender-Based Violations-Free Society, held at Mykolas Romeris University. The meeting focused on analyzing how universities can act, in practice, as agents of change to build more inclusive and sensitive societies that value diversity and gender equity through a transformative organizational culture, training programs and lifelong learning.

International Meeting of the HELCI Project at Mykolas Romeris University

On Tuesday 27 June 2023, between 9:00 and 17:30, the hybrid meeting of the HELCI project took place between representatives of the Mykolas Romerys University, the University of Vienna, the University of Salamanca, the Spanish Observatory on Racism and Xenophobia and the diversity consultancy CIDALIA.

Focus Group

We present our focus group from the University of Salamanca.

The University of Salamanca, within its role in the HELCI Project, has worked together with the focus group in several fields belonging to this project, mainly focused on the LGBTIQ+ field. Thanks to their help the project is moving forward. We continue working!
